How is your neice doing?

She is doing very well. She has been back home for about a three weeks now. She is back in school but is very limited in her activities (no running, jumping or other physical activities) due to the head injuries she suffered. She is suffering from some short term memory loss but they say that will get better in time. Thanks for asking Chuck.

Elliott traded to Colorado...I'm sure he won't be disappointed to leave that mess in Ottawa.

Kirk Daubenspeck was on his way to Madison for the series this weekend and was in an accident.

Geezus that is just terrible. A one-year-old son and another child on the way. :( Best wishes to him. I hope he manages a miracle recovery like Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona did.

God bless Dauber and his family. I pray the Doctors use their God given talents to help restore Kirk's health, if it is God's will. This kind of hits home as my Mom in law had a severe stroke last week and was comatose for 5 days. We too where in the wait and see mode. She's finally making a little process after she was transferred to a hospital in Madison.

Elloitt traded to Colorado....I hate the Avs. This is going to be tough.

I knew Dauber back in the day; this came as a shock to me. Thoughts & prayers..........

awful news. I just found out about this during the broadcast.

c'mon dauber, pull through

Re: Wisconsin Badgers 2010-2011, The next generation.

The effort on the 4th rodent goal was the worst I have seen in yrs. And that was from the top 2 d and top line. Eaves better have done some *** kicking after the game.

Re: Wisconsin Badgers 2010-2011, The next generation.

Wouldn't mind seeing Bennett tonight. Not that I don't think Scotty is our #1, because he is and we'll need him down the stretch but maybe something just to wake the boys up a little bit.

this.

the effort all game long was awful. how can you not get up for the rodents? seriously. the effort on both of mattson's goals sucked, the goals that were let in from poor angles, the losing of 50/50 pucks all game long, guys making one too many passes, it goes on and on

With all the posts we hit didn't help either, what was it 4 dingers.

Re: Wisconsin Badgers 2010-2011, The next generation.

I'd like to see Eaves do some line shuffling tonight. It almost looks like 1st star has hit a little bit of a wall playing up on the top line with Smith and Murray. Putting him on the second line and making him the main scoring threat might force him to throw some pucks at the net. It just looked stale last night.

Oh, Chuck nothing makes me prouder than having my first post on USCHO make it into your signiture line. Too bad it wasn't as well received by the rodent fans.

One of the best first posts on this site ever.

Re: Wisconsin Badgers 2010-2011, The next generation.

I appriciate that greatly, what does everyone else think about the line shifting? I'd love to see Murray-Smith-Turnbull and then Mersch-Dahl-Zengerle. Dahl looked good last night and did some good things on the PK maybe it's wishful thinking but it might cause a spark.

Re: Wisconsin Badgers 2010-2011, The next generation.

Not on here much as you can see but this is your twitter buddy. I will be at the game again tonight. I think Eaves will shake up at least the first two lines. Make first star shoot the puck when he is open. If it's at center, so be it. On the PP stand pat. I say give Bennett the start. See what he can do. He has not played much but the Badgers need a lift any where they can get it. Don't let the Goofsters beat you up too much on the other thread Chuck. They are all puffed up over a 2 game win steak. "Thats is why they play the games. If UW can relax , play their game and get a break or two they will be fine.
