I know when I pick the weekends games I always pick a UW sweep. But I think for sure Wisconsin realizes what they need to do and play very well this weekend. So for this here are my predictions for SCSU weekend.

Friday-UW 5
SCSU 2
Saturday- UW 6
SCSU 1
We are do for a couple of games where we find the net many times over the weekend.

Wow, I guess that shows us what you think of SCSU. I think the St Clown will be a little more sporty than that, considering they have nothing to lose and will be at home.
My prediciton is:
Fri: UW 3, SCSU 1
Sat: UW 3, SCSU 0

SCSU is underrated due to their awful start.

They're a solid to good team and getting a split will be difficult. However I'm hoping for more so here's to it

Fri: UW 2 - SCSU 2
Sat UW 3- SCSU 2

These are just predictions and with new things going on this week I believe all will work better than expected with lots of goals.

The Friday rodent game is still gnawing away at me. The rodents did all the little things to win and UW seemed rather disintersted for long spurts. The boys better play great this weekend. No excuses. Keep the feet moving, win races to pucks, force turnovers, solid goaltending. I'm glad I'll be able to see both games.

Look at it this way, boys: we knew coming into this season that the Badgers were going to be a very young, inexperienced team who probably wouldnt be all that good and theyve won some games that we didnt think they would. Young teams tend to lose games that they should win, especially when they are under the pressure of a, "must win" situation.

Geoffrion recall press release first noted on the blog. Thanks for all the great work on the 60 Minutes Blog.

EDIT: Bam Bam getting some good exposure on Preds TV. Blake and his father, Danny seperately interviewed during first intermission. Blake said he did not get much sleep last night. He had almost two minutes on the ice in the first period.

Right now UW down 3-1 to the malamutes (what is happening?)...I'm thinking given next year's unspectacular recuiting class (save rumpel and brendan woods, I hope) and the lackluster (lack of effort) end to this season UW will be a 7-12 place team in 11-12 *if* we don't see some big strides taken by the current frosh and sophs

edit - mccabe appears ok to but certainly no 5-stars there

Pathetic just pathetic. Terrible performance by Badgers and refs were questionable. I can almost say 100% chance Bennett is in goal for Badgers friday vs CC. They flushed it down the hole this weekend.ugh.

can't add much to that. you nailed it. the coaches were apparently unavailable for interviews post-game...no idea what that means other than they're likely just shocked at how this group can play such uninspired hockey when everything is on the line.
