We had that here too. Worst fog I an remember... not only was it dense to the point where you literally could not see, it was widespread. I don't think I had any visibility whatsoever the entire 10 miles to work.

I couldn't see down the hill but then it cleared pretty quickly here.

Think of those poor but courageous souls who lived through that in sod huts (caves, actually) with few if any windows. It would give "seasonal affective disorder" real meaning.

I know we cannot afford to be fragile here, and you certainly are not that, Kep, but we can try to avoid boorish and tasteless comments.
