Re: Winter Weather 2017-18 where EVERYONE argues.

It's surprising that the National Weather Service hasn't tried to sell naming rights to storms here. :)

Re: Winter Weather 2017-18 where EVERYONE argues.

Optimistic thought for today:

@NWS_BaltWash: NO current Tsunami Warning, Advisory, Watch, or Threat for the U.S. East Coast - Please refer to http://tsunami.gov and @NWS_NTWC for up to date information.

Re: Winter Weather 2017-18 where EVERYONE argues.

So, someone did a monthly Tsunami test warning for the East and Gulf coasts and the version that got texted out didn't include the word "test"for some people.

When a real disaster comes, we're going to be the country that cried wolf and we'll all be dead.

Works for me.

Re: Winter Weather 2017-18 where EVERYONE argues.

general weather-related complaint: enough with the "snow day" sh**, people. it didn't snow that much. not everyone gets a snow day. I will never, ever have a snow day.

Re: Winter Weather 2017-18 where EVERYONE argues.

Well, it isn't really winter weather, but ...

1.97" of rain for DC (National Airport) as of 10a. Fie on you, Al Gore, you broke the weather.

Re: Winter Weather 2017-18 where EVERYONE argues.

He opened the lockbox and climate change escaped.

And all that was left inside was... Dope.

Re: Winter Weather 2017-18 where EVERYONE argues.

70 up here breaks the record of 68 set in 1930. Low 70's tomorrow for another record.
