The camera angle here is awful. Too far away/not high enough from the ice. Was Fenway this bad last year? It also seems too bright.

I think Rupp was asking out of that fight?
I still think there's going to be one at Jerryworld sooner or later.
The problem with Jerry World would be the Cotton Bowl. You would need at least 2 days minimum I would think to get the temporary rink out and all set up for the Cotton bowl. Plus you would want another day for the football teams to do their walkthrus.
True, they could just keep the roof closed and play, but then you loose the whole romance of playing outside.Oh, I didn't have a "Winter Classic" specifically in mind. (Which was silly of me considering the title of the thread). I figure any old game would probably be sufficient for Jerry. It's not like the wintry weather would be an integral part of such a game.
In the end, there wasn't much more that hockey fans could ask for from NBC, which delivered top-flight pictures, an announcing foursome that was at the top of its game and a telecast that captured just about every nuance of the NHL's signature regular-season event.

Who is he kidding?

Just wait until they rename his SCF MVP award for Crosby.
