The first period was incredible hockey, it was really fun playing SLU. Tough result.

Minnesota and UMD scoreless after one. The Gophers are whiffing on way too many of their chances.

Late goal, 1:39 left in the third by Clarkson making it 2-0. and just like that Cornell gets the extra attacker goal making it 2-1.

Empty net goal makes it 3-1 with a few seconds left. Seasons pretty much over now for Cornell.

And well you should be.

I noticed a week or two ago that she was from NZ and thought that this in itself is an accomplishment playing at the level she is.

Difficult result for the team today but a character builder for future hockey endeavours but more importantly, for life.

It sure will be nice to not get Wisconsin in the first game of the Frozen Four. Meeting Clarkson is fitting as well seeing as they are the team to interrupt our run of Nattys.

My opinion is the Golden Knights play an extremely sound and disciplined game of hockey and will capitalize on mistakes or weaknesses in our defensive zone and will make us work to score (even if we weren't already challenged enough when it comes to putting the puck in the net!).

I'm so very happy with our victory today over a super tough Bulldog team and extremely happy for our players :D

Way to go Gophs!!
