Monster Magnet - Monolithic Baby

Railway Children - Recurrence

Right now... Interpol - Our Love to Admire

Good stuff. Not TOTBL or Antics but underrated afaic.

btw, finally figured out my iTunes library after migrating all my music from my PC to an external drive. I've had a few, "Dear Parise what have I done?" moments the past week.

Haven't posted here in awhile, so I don't know if this has been commented on:

Neil Young & Crazy Horse: Psychedelic Pill

Just picked this up about a week ago, was a little critical at first, but the more I've listened the more I like.

Great long distance road album--several extended jam tunes (15+min.): "Drifitin' Back", , "Walk Like a Giant."

Both versions of the title track are good and "She's Always Dancing" is a good rocker as well.

I think this album will stand the test of time, as many of Neil's albums already have.

Puddle of Mudd - Come Clean

Re: What's on your Playlist? USCHO Music Thread

Pulled out some tunes I haven't listened to in quite a while.

Smashing Pumpkins, Hoobastank and Tantric.

holy **** Soundgarden sounds great right now - 50 min performance on the Letterman Stage

http://www.cbs.com/shows/liveonletterman/artist/194340/soundgarden/

Had the new album in on the way to work this morning, and again on the way home. A little early to pass judgement, but I think they blended the best elements of Superunknown and Down on the Upside, with even a whiff of Badmotorfinger a couple times. It's definitely a heavier album than DOTUS, and lacks the filler that made the second half of that album drag a bit too much. The mix is pretty bass-heavy.

that's kind of what I think thusfar, elements of My Wave and then some of the second 1/2 of Superunknown with bits of DOTUS and one song the riff sounds a bit like Face Pollution from BMF...I'm really enjoying this LP and it's why I get excited about band reunions in the first place...the possibilities

someone should leave a vinyl copy of this w/Frank Black with a quick note "this is what reunion's can bring!" I mean I love the Pixies but **** stop the 4-5 year nostalgia tour already

Andrew Bird - Armchair Apocrypha

Robert Plant - Horizonte, Brazil 10/20/12

Bob's been kind enough to release shows from his most recent tour. This is one of those.

Multitrack live recording.

Great stuff and if you're into Zeppelin, I'd definitely suggest picking some of these up.

Available for download at livedownloads.com for $10 each.

A couple are available for considerably less to those who pillage the open seas. Arrrghh!

Speaking of Zep, here's a classic "smart parody"

Not the set list I would have chosen as it's heavy on the blues-rock, but very worthy nonetheless.
