Natural Born Killers soundtrack. Leonard Cohen, L7, NIN, Bob Dylan? All on one disc, and it flows? Yes, please.

Currently playing Pink Floyd - Delicate Sound of Thunder

Created a deadmau5 station tonight....his stuff was okay, I suppose. I liked Mogwai's stuff. Of course, Tiesto is always good, too.

Just scored Joy Division - 1/11/80 from Amsterdam

Perfect sounding radio broadcast.

This is really cool... :)

Interpol - All 4 Albums set on shuffle

Also - recently got off my arse and learned how to convert some old concerts I have on cassette to a digital format (through Audacity). I have a bunch of really good Trip Shakespeare shows from the early 90s that I'm currently working on. This is cool! Used to LOVE this band.

Working on 11/16/90 from the Cabooze. Does that place still exist? Weird setup for shows but this is a good radio broadcast.

It still exists, and it still houses concerts. Snoop Dogg was there about two years ago. I get spam from the Cabooze about twice a month. Most of the shows they book hold no interest for me.

The Atlantics - Lonelyhearts (along with the Seven-Ups car chase). I found this online today. it's been years since I heard this song.

Have gone with a Lars Frederiksen (singer of Rancid; had a side project called "The Bastards") station on IHR.....love it. Absolutely love it.

Awesome to both (interpol and trip). I will be seeing Atmosphere at the Cabooze in the near future.

Grateful Dead - 6/19/93 Soldier Field

Was at this show over 19 years ago and just (finally!) got a soundboard copy of it yesterday. So this is the first time I'm hearing it since that day.

Great Friday morning listen!

The shows from Soldier Field 93 featured severe thunderstorms each night including one night where they evacuated the bowl between Sting (opener) and the Dead's first set. They had all 55,000 people underneath the stadium and the crush was so bad that we actually went back out into the bowl. Rather be zapped than crushed with thousands of stinky wookies.

I remember fog rolling in during the second set of the first night. It was just pouring over the rim of the stadium and down into the bowl. Had a really cool effect on the light show.

This was also the year that they interspersed the Bulls winning the championship during drumz.

Surreal moments abounded during these shows (even more than usual for Dead shows, which is saying something ;)).

Passing the evening with:

Carbon Leaf - Echo Echo
The Black Keys - El Camino
Old Crow Medicine SHow - O.C.M.S.

I passed on what was to be the last show to attend Pearl Jam in Milwaukee. :( I do have the last show on CD, though.

Saw "The Airborne Toxic Event" about 2 weeks agos and was very impressed. Bought both of their albums the next day and have been listening to them a lot since.

After your post, I checked them out and now have both albums. Very good stuff!
