Re: What the Fark 3: The Strange and Unusual

Remind me not to run with this guy.

Or hang out at Waffle House.

The guy has been shot a total of 11 times now (this one plus the 10 times he bragged about before), and he thinks that God has made him bulletproof? Shouldn't he be worried that he's been made into a bullet receptacle instead? Hell, I'm more likely to be bulletproof than that idiot. Why? Because I've yet to have been shot once in my life.

Harmon worked for Portland, Maine newspapers for over forty years. In a 2013 column, he railed against every proposed piece of gun control legislation that followed the 2013 Newton shootings, ironically writing, “But the absolute worst part of the bill is that it would require all gun buyers to take a firearm safety course.”

:(

I know the worst part of getting a drivers license is that darn drivers ed. Why do I need to practice and learn about a car before driving it?

I dare anyone to try driving for 10 minutes here in traffic and tell me required driver's training offers no value. (I know you're not making that suggestion :))

I get it. He was old, and geriatrics think they should be exempted from these things because they learned from dad and granddad "way back when". But apparently, he didn't learn well enough.

Hey, everybody with kids. Your kid's a loser. Now please stop talking them up in that Year In Review letter you send around that we just throw out anyway.

She's British, her name is Alma Deutscher (strange combination of nationality and mixture of names there), and she wrote an opera - auf Deutsch! - that sold out all of its performances in Austria. And she's accomplished this by age 11.

I've seen better.

No, I don't think a 99% estate tax above $100M is excessive. Why?

Hell, reading about this crap is starting to make me understand the viewpoint of the 9/11 Jihadists. They're still monsters, of course, but JFC.

Caviar, truffles, and foie on a pizza? What a waste. The gold leaf is just the icing on the garbage heap.

230+/- years ago, the French got angry over this kind of behavior. Ditto for 100 yrs for the Russians.

Yes, there are different rules for the rich, I understand that. But don't flaunt it in my face. When the masses rise up with pitchforks and torches, it is too late to repent.

Re: What the Fark 3: The Strange and Unusual

This is just the bankster set being dumb. You might remember the so-called "Kobe" burger craze a decade ago - you can still see it on menus in the Midwest. "Yeah, I've heard they even jack off the cows, and sh*t!" Well sure, Wagyu beef is great when it's a steak. When it's ground beef, you can add all the fat you want, so what's the difference? Stupid!

There's no way those three ingredients taste well combined on a pizza, with crust & cheese.

I just laugh at the money they are wasting. Does it make a dent in their pocketbook? No, but it does amuse me.
