These would be my votes:

Best Scandal — General Interest: Trump's 1995 Tax Return - Whodunnit? Dishonorable Mention goes to Bridgegate, because Christie finally going down would give me great schadenfreude.

Best Scandal -- Sex & Generalized Carnality: Tough call between Bentley and Weiner, but Weiner sexting a minor puts him over the top. Fcking moron.

Best Scandal -- Local Venue: They're all pretty deserving, but I'm giving the nod to LePage for all the nonsense about a duel. Snyder gets the DM for thinking he could smooth things over by drinking Flint water.

Meritorious Achievement In The Crazy: Katrina Pierson's bullet necklace, and the subsequent trolling by both Watts and Katrina herself. Trump's Mexico trip is a close second

Outstanding Achievements In Embracing Diversity: Trump Taco Bowl takes the cake for sheer tone-deaf stupidity. Kathy Miller "No racism before Obama" gets the DM.

Most Accurate Citations Of Fake News: House Science Committee citing Breitbart. Nothing else needs to be said. They're only going to get worse with the stupidity over the next 2-4 years.

Craziest Campaign Ads: Charlyn Daugherty, "Get my husband out of the house!" Hey, it worked. Now she can resume banging the poolboy for another term. :p

Weiner gets the Career Achievement Award. None of them rise to the level of best, but he's already got a hat trick and you know it won't end there.

Our hotel is hosting a Bahá'í conference. This has to be the most mellow crowd of > 5k people I've ever seen. Very, very peaceful.
