I don't look at this as a ECAC win over WCHA, but the first win over a Big10 team.

Cornell's victory over Michigan was the first over a B1G team, the conference has been announced for a while now

Awfully sensitive. And btw, no need to parse words in regard to being undrafted/being an unrestricted free agent. The only real difference is as an undrafted college player, you can only sign for a rookie max (I think). You still get to choose who you sign with.
