Please people, learn to respond to the losers that many (most) of us have on ignore WITHOUT quoting them. You know what you are replying to, the rest of us don't care, and this way they get no more oxygen from the rest of us. I could do the same thing to them that I did to Old Pio but for the life of me I don't want that on my conscience!

In order to perpetrate whatever terrible action you are fantasizing about, you'd have to leave your Mom's basement. As we both know that isn't happening, you'll excuse me if instead, I have another chuckle at your expense.

You know Kep, you were merely stupid when I was still alive. Now you are an intellectual coward to go along with it. Congratulations, you are growing--in a manner of speaking. Also, got a hardy chuckle out of your plan for destroying the Constitution and our federal republic system. Serious question, as every state in the Union entered into the bargain in terms of the way representation is allocated, what do you think happens when you attempt to attempt to renege on that bargain in order to impose the politics of a group that maybe controls somewhere between 5 and 10 percent of the US landmass. How do you suppose that ends?

I've seen a couple of insurgencies up close and personal--in both instances because people who did not understand the political order and cultural/sociological norms of both countries broke the existing order without putting any thought into how those effected might react. What was even more unexpected by those same leaders was the fact that the people who might react violently would not be limited to a few Baathist dead enders or hard core Taliban/Arab fighters. And, lest you forget, the imposing force could field and deploy the most tactically effective fighting force in human history supported by the most sophisticated and technologically advanced weaponry and communications networks in history.

That force will not be available to you in your quest to destroy our political blue print and most of our political institutions because roughly 80% of the combat arms of that force vehemently disagrees with your politics (and even 65% of the REMFs feel the same way if DSSC commissioned polls of the military in 2016 and 2020 are to be believed). In fact, it is probably safe to assume that the overwhelming majority of the force you would need to impose your stupidity would actively participate in the insurgency. Its grim business when a city gets choked off from the countryside. You are going to run out of Soy Milk and Impossible Burgers very quickly. The power will go pretty quickly and the potable water supply as well. Of course the worst thing about what you'd provoke is that your crushing defeat would not result in a return to the status quo antebellum. Sadly, I don't think a center-right coalition would adhere to the center after winning an existential fight against cultural and real live marxists. More likely than not, the end result would be some sort of American Pinochet replete with helicopter trips out over the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans for those of you who were not fortunate enough to die in the war. And as much as you'd richly deserve that fate, as an adherent to political, social and cultural norms, I'd have to violently oppose that regime as well--although they'd be a much harder opponent to defeat, indeed, trying to supplant them would be a multigenerational project (in contrast, some of the wargaming that has been commissioned concerning a Left-Right American Civil War Part Deux says you guys are lucky to last for a year).

It's revealing, Walt is clearly someone who has a left-of-center perspective, and only espouses moderation in keeping with cultural and societal norms. Yet none of you have even the slightest of clues just how far out of touch you collectively are, and in doing so, you alienate a potential ally.

5 million more job openings in America than people who report looking for work (U3). Obviously Biden's fault for not forcing employers to increase their wages or offer flexible scheduling.
 
‘Inside Politics’ was so depressing this morning. I’ve seen a couple polls recently that make me very concerned about younger voters. They support Ukraine much less than older voters and apparently they’re not very happy with Biden either. I do think Biden needs to come up with a plan for student loans and Dems need to disown some of the wacky things local Dems do that discourage vast majority of voters.
 
I would think he means more like the "Take Abraham Lincoln's name off this school" type stuff...but that might be too sane an argument for Drew so who knows ;^)
