Re: WCHA Thread III
A fairly long list of very impressive, remarkably talented bunch of players in the WCHA are nearing the end of their college careers.
It is true; of the top six, all lose something. Listing players who play a lot:
Wisconsin: Brooke Ammerman, Hilary Knight, Carolyne Prévost, and Brittany Haverstock;
Minnesota: Sarah Erickson, Anne Schleper, Jen Schoullis, Kelly Seeler, and Emily West;
North Dakota: Stephanie Ney, Alyssa Wiebe, Monique Weber, Margot Miller, Kelsey Ketcher, and Sara Dagenais;
Minnesota-Duluth: Haley Irwin, Kacy Ambroz; Jennifer Harss, Lana Steck;
Ohio State: Natalie Spooner, Laura McIntosh, Kelly Wild, Melissa Feste, Brittany Carlson;
Bemidji State: Zuzana Tomcikova, Montana Vichorek, Marlee Wheelhouse, Kimberly Lieder, Lauren Williams, and Alana McElhinney;
St. Cloud State: Brittany Toor, Jaclyn Daggit, Tayler VanDenakker;
Minnesota State: Alli Altmann, Jacki Otto, Emmi Leinonen, Ariel Mackley.
Doesn't mean that the league will be weaker next year, but there are a number on that list that have been stars for years. You could put together a team that would win a lot of games.
