It wasn't "ordinary charging". He left his feet *and* hit Wehrs in the head. If he merely left his feet without the contact to the head, it's a 2 minute charging. Since he did both, it's a major penalty and probable suspension.

Knowing McLeod, Frattin will probably be banned from the WCHA and have to go play in the NHL where that would probably be a minor penalty.

Blood just threw a shoulder into Kangas.

Even if this doesn't go rout on us, it's already turned ugly.

So... the refs call Kangas for the only penalty when Blood clearly threw a shoulder into him. Way to go, refs. That should've been matching calls - one to UND for hitting Kangas, and one to Kangas for whatever he did after that.

Wow...this game is going to be out of control very soon. Blood throws another blatant shoulder into Kangas as he crashes the net
