The refs blew it by not tossing him. Reckless/intent to injure - that's as bad as any CFB.

Official call is charging / contact to the head.

I'm really surprised that they didn't eject him.

Let's see what kind of balls the WCHA officials have...I wouldn't be surprised if nothing happens at this time, had it been during the regular season, he'd get a game or two.

FYI, no one has ever scored a PP goal just passing it around the outside edge of the zone 6 times. Occasionally you have to shoot the puck.
