gee Betty and Veronica, I did not say that was the case... but YOU go ahead and explain not scoring on a 5 on 3 against the nations 4th worst PK... AFTER every talented player was forced to leave the team this season... (2 or 3 over the summer and Stacy a couple weeks ago)
they play like giant mites... three forwards on the puck at all times.
I have not EVER seen Bangor High play, but I will bet a million bucks, IF they have a winning record, their wingers play their wings and WAIT on the weak side for the play to come to them and wait there for rebounds, rather than crowd the puck all the fn time.

What the hell else does that mean? They lose on purpose to make Whitehead look bad?
I'm not defending Whitehead, or the strategy, or the talent, or whatever. But if you are going to make an allegation that a sports team IS THROWING GAMES (which you did), you better have some evidence other than "jeez this seems like a game they should win." Should Maine score on a 5 on 3? Yes. But its not like its been since 1984 since someone failed to. It's also not like its been since 1984 that a theoretically better team dropped a stinkbomb at home to a lesser opponent.

All our goalies have problems with rebounds. Too bad Grant got tired of coaching and retired.

Hannigan says that D men crashing into each other is going to drive the coaching staff nuts...
have any of you ever seen Tim's practices?
They are half speed... work on the break out and a couple guys work on face offs.
all joking around, all half speed... nobody tries anything novel, just do the system, dump and chase.
then Tim "explains something" for 5 minutes, while everyone gets cold.
good teams have game speed practices... good coaches explain BEFORE the boys get on the ice, then coach tells them what to do next .... with a 30 second break.
any one else notice that the drop pass went the way of the dodo after the North Dakota series?
they were doing those (Abbott and Dee and Flynn... and Nyquist) becuase they were doing those things over the summer when they were not influenced by the micromanager....
no drop passes in "the system" so even though it creates a screen and good chance for a rebound, it does not happen because it does not fit in
