Re: Vermont @ Maine

Given up, just like they did at Merrimack. But TIMMAY says this team has no quit in them.

Re: Vermont @ Maine

Wow, 14 goals in 2 games for UVM. That's almost as many as in the previous 20 games. Maine has a ton of offensive talent, not sure what's going on up in orono.

Re: Vermont @ Maine

Really should've quit on the game like the team did but its like a car wreck. Can't turn away.

Re: Vermont @ Maine

Honest question... what is the system Tim wants exactly?

basically,
no hitting on the forecheck, "it takes you out of the play"
always have one more player on a loose puck than the opposition, so if the puck is in an offensive corner and the opponents have one D and the center nearby, Maine must have all 3 forwards nearby
if the loose puck squirts up to the half boards, and the opponent has 2 on it, Maine as the 3 forwards AND the D on that side on it.

next... the scoring system... TIM determines who shoots on the PP... no matter what.
Nyquist can shoot from the low right circle and Abbott can shoot from the point (and he does not have to worry about hitting a shin pad of the guy covering him)
O'Neill can shoot from the point when he is out there.

NO clearing opponents out of the crease
if you defend your goalie and earn a trip to the box, you are benched
Dimmen and ONeill know not to do this

that's about it...
and all trips up ice go up the right side
the guy on the left side is a decoy to spread out a trap

Glad this game wasn't on tv, cause now I don't have to sit through seeing Whitehead's pathetic mug on the screen trying to excuse another no-show performance.
