i realize in fanboy land that painting your face makes you as important as the coaches, and that the lines between stalking and journalism cross more than parkers eyes after a night at the dugout; but in the real world, none of that is true. you look stupid acting like you are on the team; when in all reality, the players hate you nerds.

yes, thank you for those astute observations. next time i'm sitting in the stands watching a game, i'll try to remember that those guys skating on the ice are the real players and that i'm just a fanboy. also, face painting + being a fan = acting like we are on the team? man, just can't poke holes in that logic

99% of Vermont fans have no interest in a flamefest so when one starts we tend to lose interest in the thread.

Someone sounds jealous. And as Cat Lover alluded to most of the UVM fans aren't interested in a flamefest. Most of the time I prefer to talk shop as well, but when there isn't much going on there is one sure fire way to get some traffic.... insult the fanboys. It's also the easiest, all you have to do is say they are overrated and they go all Yale on you.
