You watch a Bruins game and even thou they are Bruin's guys they actually make you believe that there are 2 teams playing. While I know VT did get outplayed last night if you are suppose to be HE announcers and not BU(BC gets the same treatment) then you have to treat both teams the same.

I'm sorry...saying that Jack Edwards can be ever the least bit unbiased is ridiculous. Then again...he does acknowledge that there are two teams....when he's busy laughing like a maniac when a player on the other team has basically been killed.

After listening to those 2 NESN guys kissing BU's rearends over and over I wished the game wasnt several seconds off the radio prodcast because it really was very sad and unprofessional.

You watch a Bruins game and even thou they are Bruin's guys they actually make you believe that there are 2 teams playing. While I know VT did get outplayed last night if you are suppose to be HE announcers and not BU(BC gets the same treatment) then you have to treat both teams the same.

My guess is it had more to do with UVM sucking. With Logan apparently being a PC guy and Janney being a BC guy, they were probably waiting for UVM to do something in order to praise the opponent of BU. Not much you can say about a team as bad as Vermont. So, no, you don't have to treat both teams the same. The team that is better will get more praise.

I think that was in regard to Randy Jones, so Edwards deserves a pass for that...

Watch like a Penguins game or something and it's basically 'they can do no wrong.'

Yeah I heard their announcers too...fact is nowadays it's tough to find any announcer in any sport, short of Vince Scully, the can call a semi-unbiased game.

So my point is not that Jack's out of the norm with how biased he is...basically all announcers are, but he takes it over the edge and makes it unwatchable

Saturday night's game was a BU broadcast as that was part of their package of games that the school pays for. Friday night was a "NESN" game. While I do broadcast Providence games and do support the Friars, I'm also a Northeastern grad who spent two years at Maine. While I have a great deal of respect for Jack Parker and the Terriers, I can assure you that I'm not a BU homer

C'mon

There is simply no way this fellow can be a BC fan. By definition, BC is incapable of attracting anyone with this person's appearance. The screening process doesn't allow it. This person must be a BU fan masquerading as a Superfan. SteveF, Carmine, Nick, et al will confirm this.

I had the same thought. What was even worse was all the mention everytime a review occurred how the announcers "got it right." For Pete's sake, half the time they were waffling back and forth and then said "yep ref's got it right." Other then that it was a pretty bad telecast. There were two occassions where they displayed a UVM player's name with the wrong picture. Apparently several players look exactly like Sebastian Stalberg.

I think I almost prefer that idiot Melrose calling games. But whatever, you can always mute it and just watch the game, or not pay attention to the announcers.
