Should we start a campaign to rename Agganis "The Gutt South?" Haven't beaten Vermont there since the 07 quarterfinals and haven't beaten them since Nov 4th 2005 in the regular season. A loaf of bread back then was 15 cents...true story

Wasn't being sarcastic. I only turned it back on after a bu friend of mine texted me saying "bu is gonna choke this one away" followed by his post game text of "that's how you f up a game"

Pirate, still don't know what your point was. Maybe dave in st. Paul could clear it up. If not I might be SOL. I don't think a dictionary would help clear up that garbled mess.

As for uvm's uniforms, they look like the minnesota wild's thirds

Ha...maybe he meant PBP guy. Still don't know where Mike Logan came from...couldn't they have gone old school and give Bob Neumeier a call?

J.D...to answer your question: I do radio and tv for Providence College...I have the same reaction watching games some times..."who the hell is this guy...." hope it wasn't too bad on the ears :)

Mike you did a good job you clearly sounded like someone who was familiar with college hockey, wish you continued success in your career.

I know seriously. Call me crazy though but I like Janney. He's a little unpolished and inarticulate at times but I like listening to him, he certainly gives fair commentary.

Janney has improved since his frist few telecasts. Although I have to admit, I was anxious to here his response to Logan on the comment about good freshmen in hockey east over the last 10 years versus the first few years of the league. I have no stats, but I'm pretty sure Janney himself had a pretty darn good freshman season, as did a fellow named Brian Leetch (Player of the Year), Mario Thyer (66 pts I believe), Scott Young, etc.:D

I am with you. This team is gonna be fired up and determined to win tonight after blowing that lead last night. Maybe last night will be for the best in the long run because if they win 3-0 last night UVM probably comes out flying tonight so maybe we end up with a win and a tie instead of a split. Then again I am probably just trying to find positives after blowing a 3 goal lead

i'm pretty sure all bu fans do this, as well.. it just happens when they are in high school before their dreams are crushed by the BC admissions department.

Well, you see there Norm, as near as I can tell, SteveF gave a really interesting list of what behavior was and wasn't allowed, and of which feelings of allegiance were and weren't allowed, etc.; and in reply pirate said the same thing back -- a classic way to make fun of someone's silly statements by repeating them back at them. Then you said you didn't get what pirate was talking about. This had the unintentional effect of proving pirate's point against SteFev better than it was proved the first time. I think Mike Tyson showed up to play piano about then. Not exactly clear. It's all a bit hazy.

After listening to those 2 NESN guys kissing BU's rearends over and over I wished the game wasnt several seconds off the radio prodcast because it really was very sad and unprofessional.

You watch a Bruins game and even thou they are Bruin's guys they actually make you believe that there are 2 teams playing. While I know VT did get outplayed last night if you are suppose to be HE announcers and not BU(BC gets the same treatment) then you have to treat both teams the same.
