Any matching call is a joke because most players would have gone to the bench for 2 minutes or so before their next
shift anyway so where they sit doesnt really matter.

The only time I have seen the five called alone was at BC when PC's Mauermann got called for his only two minute penalty in his junior year

Maybe we can still make it a 4 point weekend. We beat them so bad tonight that they decide after the game to forfeit next weekend's rematch in Connecticut. ;-)

First Period goes to VT-Played their game; fast, hard forechecking and tough. Colton stood out to me that period and made both goals happen.

The goals against are really starting to get worrying. That fourth goal...what was Stef doing?

Glad to be back at the Gutt - been there basically nonstop since noon (women's game).

I know this is the men's thread but.......Was the women's game as one sided as the shot totals showed or was the score more indicative of the game? 1 shot in the 3rd versus 17 sounds brutal. This is/was a big test weekend to see how far the women's team has progressed and based on the box score it looks like they still have some work. Good to get it to OT though. Fingers crossed for today's game.

Same thing happened at Prov last week and for some reason no player gets him his stick. Last week was on the PP and they all just skated away
like last night. Hope he learned from last night that you cant dump the puck around so hard that it gets to a player before you can get back to the
net. Think we might see Santa next week as second and 4th goal were soft.

It was lopsided, yeah. Black pretty much stood on her head.

Today was a bit closer in terms of possession but BC had all the chances (and goals)

Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing Santa either. I feel like Stef's having some burnout and needs a breather.

Somewhat random, but if you remember at the start of the year UVM cut two defenders...One of them, Mitch Ferguson, has joined D3 SUNY Geneseo, per the club team's Twitter (both cut defenders had been playing with them; Kearley is still there afaik)

Side note, Mario is two goals away from becoming the first Catamount to hit 50 goals in a career since JC Ruid in 1996-97
