USCHO Music: That's Me Inside Your Head

Happy Taylor is finally getting railed properly, but I found Life of a Showgirl: Encore lacking artistically.

And I believe the VMAs gave her the Artistic Director award so she would show up.

It’s bad.

Happy Taylor.

Can't say I'm a huge Glen Campbell fan, although I do remember watching his tv show as a kid. But there's just something about this song that just captivates me.

Now, no idea what the state of his faculties were at this point in time. But his playing is still so easy and effortless. And this is how you play a solo. It's not a note for note copy of the original recording, he expands and embellishes on it. But never at the expense of the song, never devolving into flash for flash's sake, never to show off. And yet, he still shows off his skill, while still serving the song.
