US National Teams: U30s & Mrs. Potter, U22s, U18s Part II

Re: US National Teams: U30s & Mrs. Potter, U22s, U18s Part II

2 cuts have been made this week: Kate Buesser and Jincy Dunne

If this is true, I wonder about the selection process. Buesser seems to have made it clear that she was leaving hockey after this year anyway. Candidates like Steadman, Skarupa, and Brandt will be around maybe for next time and might have been a better investment. If you're picking a player who might get cut, surely it's better to pick one who would benefit from the leg up?

The two games in the U.S. (Dec. 20 in Grand Forks, N.D., and Dec. 28 in St. Paul, Minn.), which are part of the “Bring on the World Tour,” will be presented on NBC Sports Network, and the two games in Canada (Dec. 12 in Calgary, Alberta, and Dec. 30 in Toronto, Ontario) will be aired on Universal Sports Network.

NBC Sports Live Extra, NBC Sports Group's live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices and tablets, will stream both games in the United States airing on NBCSN via "TV Everywhere," the media industry's effort to make quality content available to authenticated customers both in and out of the home and on multiple platforms.

Universal Sports will also live stream the Dec. 12 and Dec. 30 events on UniversalSports.com and via the Universal Sports Live App for iPad tablets.
I am looking at UniversalSports.com and it appears to me that there is a live stream available IF YOU ALREADY RECEIVE UniversalSports via cable or satellite. I do not. Does anyone have any experience with Universal such that you could confirm that I am shut out of the live stream or else maybe give this clueless UniversalSports newbie a tech tip to get me started on the right road?

No problems with the NBCSN streams, I get that channel on my cable package and will be able to watch the Dec. 20 game from Grand Forks without any problems. My current plan is to be present at the Dec. 28 game in Saint Paul.

Don't you think, steps down is a loose term. If you saw his Twitter post, it read: Heartbroken. That to me is not stepping down, that is a man that was forced out.

And this is a thread about the US squad. Frankly I don't care a rat's patoot about who did what to whom in Red & Black. Feel free to start your own thread, or dig up the Olympic thread that was started a while back.

Considering the only matchup that even matters in the Olympics is against the Canadians, some people might care a rat's patoot about north of the border, and the fact that with him behind the bench they beat the US the last two games.

Nope...I'm with Hux on this one. Discuss all you want in the proper thread.

while you may consider them a pushover, hopefully Team USA does not consider Finland & Sweden pushovers

Ironic comments from the two of you. Specially the second one, since I was being lambasted in the past by said person for "trying to control was what being said and discussed on threads in the past". Pot..Kettle ...Black.

You can blame me for bringing the event up earlier today. As far as I'm concerned the news was very relevant, considering the match-up on the ice tonight and the repercussions/impact it could have both on today's game and the big event in a couple of months. My personal opinion is that HC took a step backwards today, we we shall see. I'm pretty sure both of you are dying to know what the real reason is/was for the "change of heart".

Besides, this thread was conveniently on the front page. so quickly put it there.

Right. Your rep clearly indicates you don't comprehend the term double standard. This is a typically ridiculous misrepresentation. I "lambasted" you for your frequent attempts at censorship while assuming some self appointed position of forum moderator. I post that I think your TC coaching developments belong in the proper / different thread. Yup...same thing...

Tell me again how TC coach discussion belongs in here vs. http://board.uscho.com/showthread.php?105377-Team-Canada-U18-U22-Centralized-Olympic-Roster

Don't go away mad...

I know what the reason was: Mind games = player revolt.

Re: US National Teams: U30s & Mrs. Potter, U22s, U18s Part II

USA 4-1 in the third.

Duggan for 3-0 and six seconds after Canada closes to 3-1 Knight to restore 3 goal lead.
