“Zelensky is basically an ungrateful international welfare queen.” -- Dump Jr, today, while Zelensky was in DC

The whole family is on the Russian payroll. End the Right, everywhere. Save the world.

Reagan would smack those pu$$ies

And to follow that up, first time I agree with the neocons.

Exactly. Ex-actly. As with the Right in this country, this is not an enemy you can negotiate with or contain. That will only give them the chance to regain their strength. This is an enemy we must be always driving to disarm and break. This is an implacable, lethal snake we must defang.
The War of Russian Choosing will only end when Vladimir Puta is dead. If the war continues much longer, and more of their oligarchs start to really feel the squeeze, it might end before 2024.

There’s no guarantee his successor will be any better but we can certainly hope that is the case.

The war is not even remotely popular with the public at large. Reports also tell that the war is not popular amongst the plutes there, too. Puta is just too powerful for most to do anything about it. It will take the further dwindling of fortunes for those with the means to finally act. When a dictator does not have the will of the People, they most often come to inglorious ends.

Putin has the support of Tucker Carlson and the entire Republican Party. May be all he needs to forge on for another decade long war like America in Afghanistan.

The great thing for Putin about the Russian oligarchs is that high windows and balconies seem to have a 100% success rate on them.

This is a needed check on potential Chinese aggression in eastern and southern Asia over the next decade. Particularly given Putin's actions in Ukraine, sending Xi a message now is a no-brainer. The US military can't be expected to fight everyone's battles.

Couldn’t agree more. All of this buildup, and all of the flashpoints there are right now around the world, lead me to believe within the next couple years we are going to see war like we’ve never experienced in our lifetimes. Hopefully it doesn’t happen but seems inevitable the way things are going.

Maybe this is a misunderstanding on my part but I get the impression Russia, China, Iran, NK, etc have a lot more interest in destroying the west than improving their own lot.

Russia, Iran, and NK sure. And of those 3, only one might have a populus to back it. Seeing the trends in Iran makes me think that the people just want to live a normal life just like everyone else. And as russia feeds people into a worthless and deadly war, the people are going to get tired of that, too. Lest we forget, Iranians and russians have seen the West and the lifestyle it can bring- their leaders are just working the dumb right like the R's in this country are working.

China, on the other hand, got rich because of the West. The people who have been making goods, in massive numbers, that they could not afford and were exported see what has been going on- a war with the West would end them as a potential economic group. And this recent russian war surely has had some effects within the Chinese military seeing the corruption, that they have as well, have a shocking impact on what should have been a war that lasted a month.

When the West did better, China did better. The whole anti-west Communism from the 1990's and before got caught up in the economy of supplying the west. As did the fear mongering of China- since the whole attitude toward Cuba has not changed at all. China is STILL Communist, and we are happy to force them to make our stuff and send them money. Somehow, Cuba is still some evil country that is to be feared. Stupid, IMHO. Cubans are just people, too. But my company was happy to GIVE secrets to Chinese companies to make money. No, China has way to much to lose to start a massive war with the West.

As I see it, the Chinese saber waiving is more about covering up their own corrupt mistakes than anything else. And their populus is getting really tired of that, too.

NK is so bad that they can do nothing but bring others down.

According to Danish intelligence, Putin is pretty much going Full Adolph on Ukraine.

In the early weeks of the invasion, Joakim said, "they were close" to winning the war, but poor decision-making from the Kremlin cost Russia its expected quick victory. He pointed to Putin's ideological convictions, rather than poor intelligence, as the main reason for Russia's failures, according to the interview.

"We put a lot of the blame for this on Putin's shoulders," he said. For instance, he cited decision-making among a small group of his allies that was not shared with others until the "last minute," saying that caused confusion among the troops. Labeling the invasion a special military operation rather than a war also backfired, as only certain troops could engage in combat until Putin ordered a partial mobilization of reservists in September.

"These are pretty small factors that ended up deciding the outcome," Joakim said.

He added that he believes Putin is still interfering in the military's conduct of the war. He described a recent meeting with his military leaders in December as "the worst idea in the world."

Never go Full Adolph.

Never go Full Adolph.

From a military standpoint, that explains a lot.

And from a humanity standpoint, it does as well.... Which is THE clear indicator that putput just wants to murder Ukrainians, so anyone left in the regions he's able to keep will likely be murdered after the negotiations finish.
