US Foreign Policy 2.0: Have you read Kipling, Mr. Tillerson?

Our little Mossad.

The USG has been training Gestapo to murder dissidents and journalists in other countries for half a century. Before that the fruit and oil companies just subcontracted the work to private firms.

We're an empire, people. Empires torture people to maintain their power. It's never been any different from Han China to Stalinist Russia. All empires are morally identical.

So true. I just wish more people would be outraged by our behavior and vote accordingly. If we were to ever unite we could put a stop to it.

If you're the honor graduate, do you get to pick which Presidente bites the dust?

Nope. That call is made in a smoky room (attended by 1-2 Langley folks, 1-2 pentagon, and whomever represents whatever Wall Street entity is ****ed off at the time) and the honor students are told where to be or what cut-out to hire and so on...

If you're the honor graduate they shoot you as someone they might not be able to control.

I say to you againe, doe not call up Any that you can not put downe; by the Which I meane, Any that can in Turne call up somewhat against you, whereby your Powerfullest Devices may not be of use. Ask of the Lesser, lest the Greater shall not wish to Answer, and shall commande more than you.

Re: US Foreign Policy 2.0: Have you read Kipling, Mr. Tillerson?

So I'm on the plane reading this book Letters From Over the Wall about the author's 40-year friendship and correspondence with four now former citizens of East Germany. In a letter dated from 1984, one of them writes, "As I am taught, Americans are very poorly informed about world politics and most don't have any interest."

I had to stifle my laughter so as not to disturb my fellow imperialist bougies, because I couldn't help but think this bit of propaganda is one thing that is actually quite true in 2019. :D

Someday I will go. Maybe not while Diet Brezhnev is in office.

I'll go after the real democratic revolution. Same with Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Syria, and Turkey.

I'm hoping for a really long life.

I'm still thinking about going to Russia. The "Bald and Bankrupt" YouTube channel has really piqued my interest.

And not just because of Alinchek. ;)

The only thing this admin is planning is pro-Israel dick-waving.

Saudi Arabia's brands of monarchical theocracy and Islam are more extreme than Iran's, and their human rights record is worse. The Saudis should not be our allies, but unfortunately that ship has sailed, so we're stuck with Iran (OOGA BOOGA!) as Public Enemy #2.

I'll just repeat this. I kind of want to go to Iran now.

It's only a matter of time before we have a Franz Ferdinand in the air.
