University of North Dakota-2015-2016-Seaason

Re: University of North Dakota-2015-2016-Seaason

OMG (face palm)...

Do you know the definition of sarcasm? If so, you obviously don't recognize it when you see it. I was making fun of blowhard NCHC fans, sorry it went so far over your head.

Ooohhh. I think I get it now! What you're saying is that Michigan wants to join the NCHC so they can play in the National Championship game. Am I right?

Re: University of North Dakota-2015-2016-Seaason

I think Michigan, with all that talent up front, will be a very dangerous team in a "one and done" format. Any NCHC team playing Michigan will have their hands full. The unanswered question is whether Michigan, in a one and done format, has the ability to string together four games with solid goaltending, defense and scoring against quality competition. Thus far I'm not sure we've seen it, but they'll get their chance.

Re: University of North Dakota-2015-2016-Seaason

I've seen Dakota, SCSU, Denver, and Michigan all in person this season. Right now I'd rate them this way as a total neutral:

1. Dakota
2a. Denver
2b. SCSU
4. Michigan

Yes, this. I agree with this. My point earlier and I think of many others is this when relative to a "one and done" format. If you want to talk about overall strength of a team, the regular season is far more telling. And I'm not sure how saying teams that clearly have shown strength both offensively and defensively and consistently beat lesser opponents wouldn't fare EXTREMELY well in a conference such as the B1G.

Denver is hot, and SCSU is a juggernaut when they are on. Haven't seen Michigan, but they obviously have a ton of young talent and a high octane offense. If any of those teams are on their game, their opponent will probably lose. There are so many good teams, the one whose goaltender is on his game will probably win it. That and the gods' favor on tips, bounces, and deflections.

Enough clichés?

You can throw out the record books if any of these teams meet in the postseason.

Re: University of North Dakota-2015-2016-Seaason

SCSU can score 6 goals on any team at any time, if Chuck is on his game I don't see anyone beating them.

Re: University of North Dakota-2015-2016-Seaason

I thought I heard that CC was down to its third goalie (Shatzer) on Saturday versus SCSU and that that the other two (Nehama, Marble) are not available.

Is he a third rounder like our third goalie?

Yes, Shatzer was in net against SCSU on Saturday. If a reason was given during the broadcast, I missed it much the same way he missed stopping those nine shots.

Should we start the hashtag #PrayForCC for this weekend? It's gonna be an absolute bloodbath. UND might think of taking some penalties to score MORE goals. :D :D :D :D :D

worse team by far out of the cute 6 teams beat UND in Grand Forks. If you can't beat them, you don't deserve it yourself.

That same team just took care of your goofs at the Mooch tonight. Half empty Mooch I might add. Can't make it up.

Complete beatdown of the Tigers tonight 7-1. 4 for 6 on the powerplay. Tomorrow night will be a nail biter I'm sure.
