What I'm saying is I think the NCHC will get 3 of their 8 teams in and the Big Ten will get 2 of their 6. No, I absolutely do not agree that the 4th/5th best NCHC teams are better than the 2nd/3rd best Big Ten teams.

And you would be wrong. NCHC gets 4, Big Ten gets 1. So it would seem that mathematics agree that the top 4 of the NCHC are better than the 2nd and 3rd best teams in the Big Ten. Agree. Many Minnesota fans don't care anymore about minor league hockey it's why the Wild are growing in popularity every year. In my opinion if the Wild had a Hawks like run the Wild would be cement themselves forever as the second favorite team in the region behind the Vikings.

You do realize of course that Michigan, by virtue of winning the Big Ten championship game, single-handedly both kept Minnesota out and at the same time allowed MN-Duluth to weasel their way in through the back door? But congratulations in advance to the NCHC on their 1st ever victory in a Frozen Four game. Of course it wasn't going to happen till two of them went up against each other head-to-head. I predict that whoever wins that game will be in over their heads vs. either BC or Quinnipiac in the national championship game.

Surprise, Speedy has no humility and is unable to eat crow when he gets called out. Also, just an fyi, Michigan did the entire NCAA field a favor by keeping Minnesota out of the tournament. Michigan was the only team out of the Big Ten that deserved to make the tournament. Your definition of backdoor is *** backwards too by the way. Minnesota would've taken the "backdoor" into the tournament as they actually needed the autobid to even get into the tournament. That's truly "weaseling" your way into the tournament. Duluth actually had the PWR to receive an at-large bid.

PS You said Michigan was arguably the best team in the nation. North Dakota took care of them. Yet not even an ounce of credit given and then you go on saying both NCHC teams are going to be in over their heads? Haha!

If the Big Ten was even half as bad as you haters want to believe it is, the Wolverines would have been down three goals after one period. Even in a losing effort they proved they are more than worthy, but of course you people are too stubborn to admit it.

Yet by your own standard Michigan wasn't even the best team from their state this weekend as Ferris St. kept it close with Denver longer than the mighty B1G team could with UND. If the Wolverines aren't even the best team in their state, how can they be one of the best teams in nation?

I totally agree. Michigan was better than I expected. When looking at some of the losses they took during the year I had some doubts about how good they were. To say they had UND against the ropes in the 3rd isn't a stretch either. They played well for short periods but all in all UND was the better team in that game and deserved the win. I also felt St. Cloud deserved a win aswell but in one and done games you never know.
