Well at least Maine won the shootout and got an extra point. Boija looked great stopping those shots.

Boija settled down after that first goal given up and played great.

UConn is a very good team. Hope that player is ok.

For Maine, they have some work cut out to get back on track. Likely without Mitton for the next game or two if I had to guess.

Niemo actually fit in well with Scott and Freel. I hope to see if some chemistry can develop there

Though it was technically another last minute goal against, I don't think that quite falls into the same category as the BU, BC, and DU losses since it was on the PP, and not only that but a major after a terrible hit.

Not the best weekend on the whole, for sure, but I wouldn't call it a disaster, personally. Maybe the weekend off will be good for them, who knows.

If you had told me Maine would get 8 out of 12 points these two weekends I probably would have taken it but feels worse when they have to back into the points.

PK in OT was the only thing that saved this weekend from being an unmitigated disaster.

Mitton likely gets a deserved suspension for that hit which it’s just going to hurt the depth which is already exposed.

Only line that consistently put good shifts together was the fourth line. They deserved more minutes in that third period.
