UConn looks to be a tough team that’s figuring it out. They lost major players last year and I thought they’d regress but they look as good as ever.

Maine was sloppy and I thought the effort didn’t reach the level it’s been all season.
 
UConn was the better team tonight. Maine did a mediocre job of winning 50/50 puck battles and UConn locked down the space. Tough game to watch. Gonna need a much better effort tmrw.
 
Guys, UConn played well enough to win, and that happened.

Albin certainly wants the first couple of goals back. He had no chance on the third tally, yet went on to make a couple of stellar saves afterward.

UConn is for real, period. I thought Maine showed-up, but the margin of error was minuscule.

Tomorrow is now looking like a big game, re the PW. Should be a dogfight. :)

Glad we are bringing a bear to that dogfight.
 
Yep the better team won that one. Maine didnt have any space and got hemmed in quick on the D and couldn't bring it out ​​​except chipping it out and then right back in.
That renwick goal was just awesome, he found a new gear and a what a great shot. He looked determined.

I think i know just what Barr is going to say in the interviews about the game and havent seen the post game one yet.

One of the only nights this year the alfond seemed off, the players seemed off, we just didn't have the extra gear. Now BU is in first place...lol

They both said they got out worked. One of the rare times this year that happened.
 
Didn't see the game, Barr didn't sound to pleased with the teams practice week or the game. Hopefully the play better tonight.
