University of Maine 2024–2025: Freel-ing good

Pros: Even with a couple PKs, still outshooting the Eagles. Have looked solid 5 on 5 IMO.

Cons: Already taken three penalties. Something you just cannot be doing against BC.
 
Jacob Fowler is such a game-changer for BC in goal. He is really incredible, always seems to be making great plays.

Other than being in the box three times I didn't hate that period.

The penalties happen when you play on the edge. Walsh’s teams ALWAYS played on the edge. (My boy breazeale stopped playing the body friday night…no penalties)

Looking forward to another good battle today. The game the other day felt like it was a TD Garden hockey east tournament game. Except there would be a lot of Maine fans if it were in the TD Garden.

This game today is an opportunity for the team to step up in the wake of adversity. I think this team is resilient, but we shall see it unfold on the ice. Can’t wait!

It did feel exactly like a tournament game. Go go go, with amazing and lucky saves and lots of bad bounces and lots of great bounces.
 
Feels like the Makar/Renwick/Mitton line is a bit low on effort today. Not seeing them generate much like they were first few games of the season. Thought that line cycling on BC defense would be a key, but not happening today.
