Ken Schott is reporting that Zajac will play this weekend. However, Nolan Julseth-White will be out of the lineup.

The injury to Julseth-White means that either Taylor Reid or Jean Sebastian Bergeron will play their first games of the season. Reid hasn't appeared in a game since January 2, 2009 against Notre Dame, while Bergeron has yet to appear in an official NCAA contest.

I suppose there's also the possibility of sticking with 5 defensemen and going with 13 forwards, but I'd like to see Reid or Bergeron get some time. If one of those two were to play, my guess would be Reid. I suppose this also means that Ingoldsby still isn't healthy enough to return.

I'm also amazed at the ranking - a top 5 ranking...wow. Ken Schott's Slapschotts article really hit the nail on the head. Who would have thought in 1999 (when they won 3 games all year - 1 in the ECAC) that this team would be where they are now? I even remember some talk amongst fans and maybe some media about Union not being able to compete at the D-I level and going back to D-III.

Still, it's just a ranking. As deserved as it is, what matters is what happens on the ice. As Matt DuBrey would say, it's time to "seal the deal" and take the ECAC regular season championship!

#4 says there is a good chance he will play, but I don't think even he knows yet. There are still a couple of days, yet. But as a side note, two weeks ago he did skate with the team during warm up on the ice at Messa.

Heisenberg initially had both of Q's commitments from today listed as going to Union. The BCHL had a release on the front page for Scherbin going to Q but there was nothing on Manson.

The box office called me yesterday to say they were ready for me (season ticket holder). I'll be picking them up this weekend.

I'm making the trip up for Senior weekend. As usual, I will not get there in time for Friday night's game but I'll be there on Saturday for the final regular season game in this amazing season!

There's not lot of reason to expect anything besides another 4 point weekend. Quinnipiac could be a tougher game than some might expect (seeing how they took Union to overtime just a few weeks ago) -- but I'd still bank on a weekend sweep.

Never bank on anything. This is the ECAC.

We control our own destiny (in terms of getting the cleary cup)! This weekend should be exciting and hopefully, both games will be sold out and Messa Rink will be rockin'!

They may be sold out, but people might not be able to get there. I have tickets for tonight and am wondering what kind of sled i'm going to need to get down there from Saratoga. 5"+ and counting as of now.

How bad is 890? I will probably already be leaving here early, but seeing as how I have to go through Schenectady, I want to make sure it isn't TOO bad.
