I think rebuilding year is pretty much all one can expect, what with losing five of top six scorers, three being D-men (assuming Agosta is gone, although he did not play freshman year). DeSmith is going to need better control of his rebounds, given the inexperience in front of him next year.

I will root for any HE team left in the FF so I will root for BC. My daughter is friends with Brian Billet and she says he is a great kid.

Hoping Union can bring a brief moment of temporary happiness to the he11hole that is Schenectady.

I ain't got no quarrel with the Gophs or the Sioux, so I'll be pulling for a Western D-1 champion. :)

Having said all that ... I fully expect BC to take another D-1 title. Experience counts for a LOT.

Have to give it to Union; a strong, disciplined team...not just a 3 way horse and pony show ;) Coach U said at the FOMH meeting "we could be opening up with the next National Champion"...think he's onto something there...

Still cannot root for for BC, but I think that nearly all colleges and universities are tax exempt, whether public or private, secular or non-secular, big or small. Part of the reason that faculty usually cannot afford to live in college/university towns; in the case of UNH, even the towns surrounding Durham have wicked high housing prices, and some of the highest property taxes anywhere. All of that tax exempt property puts most of the tax burden on the residents.
