UNH Recruits: 2012-2014

Re: UNH Recruits: 2012-2014

Really upsetting to hear about Masters. I hope its nothing that'll keep him from coming or keep me from wanting him to come. Anyone able to fill us in on what happened and what his future looks like?

U.S. Hockey Report has the latest on Jordan Masters' situation. http://ushr.com/ Masters is still 17-years-old (DOB 4/30/94) and he and his family are entitled to privacy. That's why the details of the alleged transgression are not likely to come out. Looks like he probably will not be playing for the rest of this season.

Re: UNH Recruits: 2012-2014

Masters is gone.....
Can't say I am surprised... but very disappointed. (with no background knowledge of what actually happened) It's a shame that things went this way. I was really looking forward to having him in Durham. Seemed like he was going to be a real good player, a key part in UNH's rebuilding.
I hope we can go out and get someone comparable... although I was surprised we were able to snag Master's in the first place.

Anyone have any "beats" on any recruits UNH is in the hunt for? USHR stated Cody Bradley was on their radar (but he was on Miami, Colorado College? and a few other big name radars as well.) I'd take Alex Kerfoot, but sounds like (USHR) he is a lock for BC or possibly Harvard.

Re: UNH Recruits: 2012-2014

I think Kerfoot had it narrowed to BC, Harvard and Yale if I'm not mistaken. But he did decide to push back another year as he had an injury to deal with.
Haha. Yeah... I know UNH doesn't have a shot but he is being tooted as a great BCHL prospect... if he doesn't pick BC over Yale and Harvard... well... clearly he is into ivy league academics.. my money is on BC. Or if he picks Yale.. maybe he appreciates being overrated.. oops.

Give that he is looking at two Ivies and BC, I have to assume he would never get through UNH admissions.

At least that's what I keep reading here.
