UNH Men’s Hockey 22-23: the start of something new, or more of the same?

OMG the 'Cats win a game they had no business winning!!! That's a big W...good for them. Wooo!!!! Way to go Carfagna! Could we break double digits in W's???
 
Nice to see Jenson score and also Sardo. Yes MC looked better for the most part but they didn’t seem to have a goal scorer either. We seem to have half of the old saying “score early, score often.” Let’s see if we can get better on the second half.

Well as they like to say, a W is a W...and we'll take it. Have to laugh, I just looked at my predict for the night...3-2 MC when it turned out to be, 3-2 UNH (in OT). They'll have to step it up tomorrow night as UML is UML and we either hit, or miss with them...Coach was quite emotional I thought in his post game interview; recognized that MC had them on the ropes most of the night but they found a way to win. I'm happy for Jenson/Sardo (as you call him; I like it!) getting goals and Carfagna's OT snipe was a beauty. Even in a season such as this you have to take the positives when they come and this was one of those nights where normally, we get denied.

Loved that the team thanked the student section after the game..onto River Hawk Palace.

I have never expected anything less...if I'm being completely honest. I'll be more shocked if he's not renewed, if that makes any sense. If there's anything that IS for sure, he'll get another season (end of his contract).

Stevenson made up for his back-to-back penalties and Mac tying goal in third with assist on Carfagna’s GWG in OT.

UNH and Bentley now have same 8-18-1 record.

Thanks for pointing both of these things out Snives...I can rest easy tonight lol. Hey what's the over/under on which team gets double digit W's this season??? :-) Seriously it was a great pass to Carfagna and I'll give the Captain a pass for tonight...

At the beginning of the season a bunch of family and friends joined an over/under contest with one cousin holding down the low end number of wins at “a baker’s dozen.” I went with 15-17-2, and the high was 17-17. We did not consider MBPBEGAM games.

So I decided it might be helpful to look at MS7's prospects through the lens of our new AD, and what she might consider to be "successful" given her history at Princeton. You have no idea…about what this AD thinks about UNHs future prospects…none. And of course you’d make this political. Insulting to the purpose of the effort of this HC and his player featured.

At this point I am 100% behind our players who are just trying to salvage something out of what has to be for them a difficult season. What happens to the coach is a big unknown at this point. It’s like you want them to lose…

well I don’t know why I bothered to respond to this in the first place. Just a woke clueless fan I guess…
