UNH- How Far West Do We Go?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8z3Yk99yrak

the video quality is just terrible... and it is the only one I find. I was at that game and my season tickets at the time were in the perfect spot, the move was so quick that even watching it with a good angle the reaction was he just did what???

If you were further away I doubt you knew what had happened unless you saw a replay later... no video replay in the Whitt in those days.

P.S. this is still my all time favorite "he did what goal" and it was in an NCAA tournament game... "The Michigan" ... it has been done more in games in recent years
I think that the video is fine; thanks!

I also like the audio: “Well, you can practice that all you want, but until you have the guts to do it in a game, and obviously Colin Hemingway does ………that was a beautiful goal.”

Hello all...watching WMUR tonight they had a segment about the 'Cats...said that it's a possibility we could be a ranked team if
we can snag a W at MC. Naturally it was brought up about what a 'tough place it is to play there' (I agree...but it's not an excuse). Wish I could go!

Definitely plan on going to the opening weekend...at least, that's the plan for now. Hope all are well!

Marty’s House of Horrors. At least today is not Friday the 13th. No more “Drive Home Safely” chants by UNH fans at the end of games in North Andover.

Big test to start HE. Can you build off of last weekend in a place where historically you’ve struggled?

It will be interesting to see who slides in Lavins spot until he is back.

If you cannot get a ticket to Lawlor tonight, Michigan State at BU on ESPN2 at 7 pm. Huge PWR implications, even for us this early in the season. But first MS7 must prove that he can coach at the same level as the guy that he beat out for his job at UNH.

I personally find the place part of this annoying. Lawler is 200 x 85 and maybe, just maybe this was a factor when the Whitt was 200 x 100 with giant corners. I thought part of the "shrink the rink" nonsense was it would be better preparing UNH for games on NHL size sheets both during the season and in the post season. That Whitt renovation was complete in 2022. Anybody spot the improvement yet? I haven't...

Now the real problem is UNH is either not good enough or not coaching savy enough (pick me, pick me, pick me) to play with MC. Last UNH win in North Andover was October 25th of 2019. Including that win UNH is 4-8-3 (counting shoot outs as ties) against MC in any building over the last 15. Just looked it up 2019 was Borek's second year in North Andover, so since Borek had (some of) his players and his system, UNH is .367% against MC in any building. Sure over those 6 season MC had 2 over .500% but 4 under .400% yet they own UNH.

So my question is can MS7 come up with a winning game plan against what Scott Borek is doing to him or is it just same crap different night?

Answers to your last two questions are probably “no” and sadly “yes.” 😢

Can we just hire Borek?

I’ll be there but am adult so wot be wearing a jersey
So I am not an adult because I wear my UNH jersey to games? 🙂

Meanwhile, Black Bears choked a 4-1 lead at Quinnipiac for a tie and the Terriors lost 4-2 to Spartans tonight, opening the door for UNH to move up in PWR at Mack tomorrow night.

I misspoke, as NPI now replaces PWR for 2025-2026 NCAA postseason brackets. At the moment, UNH is #1, once again champions of early October.

Tracing PWR beginning last October revealed only limited changes until near the end of last season.

Everyone gets to be a fan on their own terms. If you wanna wear a team jersey, go for it. If you prefer not to (as is my current preference, with my old UNH block style lettering jerseys well-preserved but currently out of favor), then that's good too. Only dictators make "rules" for fans, and only sheep follow those "rules".
