UNH- How Far West Do We Go?

For those not aware UNH has done a fund as well the On To Victory Funds name from a line from the Universities fight song.

"These funds are built through tax-deductible gifts to UNH Athletics, with contributions going directly to support student-athletes."

Now I am sure having a coach out in the community talking to potential donors and maybe some winning will help with getting people to donate.
Can't believe that Maine didn't name theirs the "Fill the Steins Fund".

I don't expect immediate results but there is a per sport review coming for UNH. Hopefully there are some tough decisions made and resources move to areas where there is potential.
This is perhaps the most interesting (and potentially encouraging) piece of news to emerge from UNH Athletics in some time.

One would think there could be some wide-ranging impacts across the department, in any number of ways.

Wondering out loud if this has any bearing on the future of the current "lame duck" AD ...

I think I shared this a few pages ago, but if I forgot, the Granite State Collective is managing this for the athletics department. Seems fairly similar to what Maine is doing as well.

Now, the real question is: how much actual money has been donated since launching in October? And how does that compare with other HE schools?

I’ve reached out to inquire, but have not heard anything back yet.

This is laughable. Again you are asking for the "who" but you never answer that question when asked. You ignore and deflect. This is a per sport review financially which is conducted by an outside agency since our athletics department apparently does not know how to do it.
Ooooohhh ... you done hurt potty's feels, norbie! He writes heap big checks to feel like an "insider", and here he is now, holding the "left out of key info" bag 😂 😂

Playing a man’s game against a juvenile. There’s an easy option proposed, tell us who you are and I’ll say where I fit the AD and defensive info. Basic and simple. But he will deflect and ignore.

From what I have been told (dipsh!y skip this post) there will be no renewal. It is not official but the conversation I was told about had a head shake of not happening.

Oh wow! Color me surprised. As we have discussed at length before, I don’t think her body of work adds up during her time here. She also predates the current president, so maybe Chilton wants to go out and hire someone she can vouch for the position.

We can all hope the new person takes a hard look at the hockey program, and has the ability to make tough decisions (or maybe not that tough) regarding coaching staffs…

If the thought is they’ve already made up their mind, do you think they are already starting to line up candidates for interviews etc? Or would this all wait until the announcement is official, which I imagine wouldn’t happen until near the end of spring sport season at the earliest.

There is nothing official like I had mentioned but when I asked if the AD was coming back I was told there was a head shake that indicated no. From what I know athletics is a big focus of the trustees wanting to know what is really going on.
