UNH- How Far West Do We Go?

Stalking players in public and at games and then writing about it online is not fandom. Publicly humiliating players and coaches by using personal attacks is not fandom. It's derangement.

And let's not even mention the $50K per year knuckleheads that begrudge Mike Souza's salary. He only makes a decent living. All the guy did was sign a contract with UNH to coach hockey. It's not his fault that Meathead, Buford, Elwood and Scott live like peasants.

I just love how the tin eared losers that go after the players and coaches suddenly cry foul when they get knocked by me. The irony is so thick I could stir it.

October hockey is often a mirage- especially with UNH. Five freshman defensemen should guarantee short term defense issues. UNH will be better defensively in second half. UNH needs outstanding goaltending to make hay . Losing Conmy is devastating offensively. Need lots of freshman goal scoring. How often does that happen?

I don’t think anyone has ever talked about MS7s family and it’s Ryan not Mike. Maybe want to get the facts straight. Someone with 50 games of attendance should know this right?

And what does salary have to do with anything? Police and fireman make $50k a year, are you disparaging first responders?
 
"October hockey is often a mirage" ... says the poster who not too long ago was on here taking an MS7 victory lap over a "win" in a "scrimmage", and then a season opening road win against the preseason #2 ranked team. Although it is fun watching norbie drag its straw man/factually inaccurate carcass around this thread lately ...

No one begrudges MS7 his salary IF he were actually earning it. Many of us are taking a little time before the rush to judgment (again), but 5-1 losses to Merrimack don't exactly rekindle any faith and hope that it's gonna be any different this time around, sadly.

FWIW I could probably buy and sell both you and MS7, and have change left over, so give that boring schtick a rest, OR man (?) up and buck up. :cool:

I wouldn’t lose the “faith and hope” quite yet. BU got swept by MSU and Maine got skunked by Quin. Too early to throw in the towel. JMHO

Don't disagree with you, e.cat ... but last weekend's thrashing at the hands of Merrimack was not a good sign ... early yet, we'll see, fingers crossed ...

It is not the end of the world but the trend is not good. Friday at MSU on TV was bad, the game Saturday in person was worse. I can go with growing pains, but it was just bad hockey all around. I think there were 8 penalties, there was 1 shot (goal) in the first 8 minutes of the game, and the outlet from the D-zone is back to the flip the puck and not make a pass.

It is defensive hockey that does not work. LIU is a team that lost 4-2 to BU (#2) and lost 5-4 and 3-0 to PSU (#6). This is not a look ahead game.

Anyone in town at Libby's for the game?

1-2 is a small sample but yeah losing your last two is disappointing Norbert. Q will be tough but it’s still early though.
