UNH commitments/recruits for 2010 and beyond

Re: UNH commitments/recruits for 2010 and beyond

I'll tell you for every BU hat I see, I see ten BC hats. Not sure if that means anything, but it's obvious.

Curious, BC Hockey, or BC in general?

As much as I love hockey, if it's just a plain BC hat, I've gotta think that's largely related to football and basketball, the only BC teams I'd ever root for ;)

BU doesn't compete on the same level as BC in basketball, and football . . . but there's a big difference between selling 6,000 seats, and being in the minds of people who don't always attend games and still follow the school. In that regard, I would think the teams from Chestnut Hill would win.

In other news, CHC, thanks for the postings on UNH recruits. Looking forward to seeing TvR in white and blue.

A little of both, but mostly BC hockey. The lack of BU hats is obvious.

Are there rules to be followed when starting a new thread? Since the 2010 recruits are now on the active roster, it made sense to start a thread to closely track recruits for the 2011 and 2012 seasons. In one months time, the UNH Recruits - 2011 & 2012 thread has 5,168 views and 83 posts.

I would say "common sense" is more of a guideline than a "rule."

BC fans sure get bored easily. :p

Correct you are. We get very bored in October (aside from banner nights at Conte, which happens to be tonight and will be my 3rd one in a decade). We try not to get excited about trivial things like tracking recruits on a daily basis even though they may never show up or big wins in October that will get us into the NCAAs so we can choke in horrific fashion.

The Heisenberg site is showing a new recruit for the Wildcats.
Casey DeSmith-G -Indiana (USHL) 6' 174, 8-13-91

More on DeSmith:

This makes things interesting... I have to imagine that they are going to put Cody Campbell back to 2012, since he has been put back in the backup position by yet another 20 year old. I've always wondered about DeSmith, since he was from Rochester, and seemed to have decent numbers in the USHL. Seems to be doing very well so far this year.

***YAWN***.....ZZZzzzzzz........ :p :p

Re: UNH commitments/recruits for 2010 and beyond

So it looks like UNH lost their prior goalie commitment from Campbell now that Desmith is on board. Goalie swap.
