As far as AD "Sugarbritches" is concerned, as long as fans show up to the Whitt and consume copious amounts of alcohol and concessions, and as long as the student-athletes maintain their above-average GPA's, win-loss records are irrelevant.Anyone else tired of losing Hockey East matchups? Something is going to have to change at some point. Right?
But what about the upgraded parking, early entrance, and $1.50 fountain drinksThis is funny because I just was talking to JB about this on Tuesday. It has gotten earlier and earlier each year, probably in fear of not winning a game for the rest of the year. I will still be forced to buy my tickets but what is the incentive? Other than Maine games, nothing is a sell out. I can buy GA and sit or stand where I want.
I just bought tickets tonight for a friend for a BC game which should have been sold out a long time ago.
Welp we've lost 6 of 7 but hear ya..8-1 BC, 4-1 MC are my predictions...here comes the losing streak
Get careless for a moment…
UNH 3 BC 2 (OT)
UNH 5 Merrimack 3
Out of the HE basement and up to 13th in pairwise after Michigan and AS are both swept (Forever Optimistic!)
Lol good call you two.So ... it seems that only one (1) person so far isn't quaking in their skates over tonight's visit of the vaunted BC Eagles to The Whitt ... well, make it two now. And no, it's got nothing to do with becoming a sudden convert to the ways of MS7. Y'see ... BC has this thing coming up just a couple of days from now, and it's called The Beanpot. Actually, The Beanpot Finals. On national TV. Against whom? Oh yeah, arch-rivals BU. No big deal. I'm SURE BC will be entirely focused to kick the snot out of HEA's resident last place team tonight.
MS7 couldn't have written the script any better for this one. BC will just want to get past this one intact, and be prepared to empty their gas tank Monday night down in Boston. No one is gonna want to get injured, and no one is gonna want to get involved in anything that could lead to a suspension or internal discipline, even. The speed governor will be in effect, putting the brakes on any chance of a blowout so many are predicting. I'm not saying UNH necessarily wins ... but they can't ask for a better winning scenario than this one.

The fact that people thought we were going to win and that BC would be too focused on BU and the Beanpot is mind blowing to me. We don’t have the talent (or the coaching) to beat BC. We barely have the talent to beat UVM. Until people wake up and realize that and start calling for a change then we will continue to be where we are…Lol good call you two.

Or they just have a really bad coach…Thought the team deserved a better result last night. This team is cursed.
That too. I don't think Rich has the balls to fire him.Or they just have a really bad coach…
