UNH 2024/2025 Goldberg Edition

One win there maybe a tie or two. Last year despite the 3-0 loss I think we played a great game (as did many others). We've beaten them at home most memorably for me was in '15 when Jack E played.

Please remind me if winter 2015 was the Agganis game that I attended with you on your hubby’s ticket, HR. I definitely attended that game with someone because it was the only time I saw Jack Eichel play and I remember being impressed that UNH held Eichel to one goal in the 6-3 loss. We managed to tie the game 3-3 early in the second on a Warren Foegele goal, which hushed the home crowd. :)
 
Connor Sweeney gets his first UNH career goal! I rescind every negative thing that I have written about our senior assistant captain.
 
Maybe its my imagination since he is 2nd on the team in scoring, but does it seem like Devlin has taken a step back this season? I feel like if he's not getting stuffed on a grade A chance, he's taking an awful penalty, usually well behind the play. Cats could use a finisher.

Yes that was the game..tonight was kind of like that. Better team wins out but 'Cats had their chances...

Where the H was our top line all night??? Sigh. Too bad...we just can't seem to come out on top in these games.

UNH played well up to the point of Whale’s giveaway on the Greene goal. UNH won a lot of one on one battles but BU is better. Caron was a little shaky tonight. If UNH played every game like tonight, an NCAA bid would be a given.

Lavins is a real good, scrappy player. Ring is a good one, too. But UNH has minimal skill on defense. It really shows against top competition.

Agree on all of your points esp the last one. Finisher should be Conmy not a factor in past 3 games if you ask me...

Result not unexpected after the easy give.away goal...too bad.
 
Maybe Yukon and Luce are for real after all? CT Huskies dropped Maine to 5th in PWR, climbing to 9th themselves, behind BU in 8th, PC in 6th, and BC in 1st. UML now 11th and UNH in 16th, despite ugly start to second half. Need to upset Terriors at Agganis tomorrow.

The D was supposed to be our strong point with everyone returning...wait til next season when the veterans are gone...

.....and yeah BU is just better. Even when they aren't the team they sometimes/usually are they are still better.

Not all was bad tonight..interested to see what they bring tomorrow. Gotta have more from that top line.
 
UNH is like a perennial mediocre team now. Kinda like UVM. But at least they were able to win a NATTY in soccer.

Deleted one of my double posts, and now they are both gone? But anyway, I actually suffered through a bit longer, but not much. Seems like everyone is taking turns in new ways to lose.

To coin a phrase out of the great golf flick Bagger Vance "Oh no sir we've been mediocre for some time now"...if you havent seen the movie obviously this is meaningless but trust me...it fits...The actual quote is "this is getting embarrassing" insert mediocre for that and you get it!

Ah the warm comforts of Agganis awaits...
 
In the three biggest games for UNH this year the 1st line was a combined -19 with zero goals and one assist...ouch..you broke my heart again Mild Cats.

Top line has been invisible and our top D-man having three horrible games. And then there is MS7…
