UNH 2024/2025 Goldberg Edition

Behind and apologize if it’s been posted. Why are the HE championship games Thursday and Friday this year? Not like it matters as I won’t be attending the U there just seemed weird that it changed.

The building is not available on Saturday due to the World Figure Skating Championships. Metcalf said it is just a one year thing.

Great. Nigel is a closet figure skating aficionado. Could've earned my respect for a monster truck rally, but nooo .......

Until you mess with lines to get a senior a goal and it ends up 7-4. This should have been 10-1

Do not get me started on the senior captain still without a career goal starting on the fourth line in every game when once-believed promising first-year players sit on the pine (er, plastic) game after game.

Yeah but.....

Ok, sorry, I misspoke, as the senior that Norbert mentioned is not a captain but an alternate captain.

Nevertheless, it still amazes me that a senior forward who has played 102 games has not managed to score a single goal over 3+ seasons. I mean, what are the chances of that? As they say, even a blind squirrel finds a nut at least once in its lifetime.

Welp some lapses here and there but am happy the 'Cats pushed for the W. This was a game they should win and they did. Big 4 point day for Devlin/LeClerc.

Nice to see goals from the PP and Dmen Jenson and Gagne. Sweet snipes from Cronin and LeClerc. Da Whale had some great saves. Almost a hattie for Devlin...we'll take it!

Overall good effort coming back from the break. Onto Hobey Baker Rink.

Happy New Year...be well all!

Speaking of da Whale, does anyone think that Rico DiMattio will get another chance in net this season? I realize that his 4.64 gaa and 0.828 sv% over 65 minutes has not been stellar.

True enough. Go figure. He'll probably score a GWG in OT for a NATTY. Haha

Yes. With 3 against BC, BU, Lowell, and UMass plus 2 against everyone but NE basically there are plenty of 7-1/8-1 late games coming for him to get mop up duty.

can we play BC now with 7 players alone on the US junior team?

Where are they now?? Just read former UNH back up goalie Jeremy Forman just won in a shoot out as his UNLV team beats Denver...exhibition.

BC has 6 on the junior team.

?

True dat. But take a screen shot of the PWR right now where UNH is tied for 12th with 51 PWR points. Stranger than science.
