My obsession? Who brought us into the thread? Like every time your fans want to compare hatred?
That would imply that we are still a bee in your ear, not the other way around.
Funny how the worms have crawled out from the bunker now that you have a program to talk about. Let me know when the banner goes up.

We typically don't express frustration over how bad the team played, or call for Hakstol's head. We prefer to blame the officials, and occasionally our goalie. However, you're new to the WCHA so it isn't fair to expect you to understand all of the tendencies of fans whose team you haven't played yet.

On a more serious note, Blais understands that for success in the WCHA you need to sweep at home and split on the road. I'll take a split this weekend, and the two points, and take our chances in January at home.

Youre right, someone brought you guys up, but that doesnt negate the fact that youre once again trolling threads involving UNO. Please find a new hobby.

Championships are not won in November, the season isn't even half over yet in fact new WCHA teams should talk to us in March because it is a long season. Wait until the playoffs and the WCHA Final Five to talk smack because that is when new WCHA teams will get the credit they want. You will see.

Well, this isn't exactly the Oxford Union of threads, is it? I summarize thus:

You suck!
No, you suck, and you're a n00b!
No, you suck, and Michigan r00lzorz!11!

The statistics bear out that UND is the toughest team UNO has played so far, save possibly Michigan, though their relative strengths of schedule are debatable. Given their styles of play, this should be excellent hockey.

As a Maverick fan, I have these points of view:

1) I am delighted that Trev Alberts and Dean Blais have propelled UNO hockey forward,and I believe this is a quantum shift for UNO's hockey program, and I believe it will outlast Coach Blais.
2) I am pleased by UNO's performance against the 3, out of 11, WCHA schools it has played, recognizing that there are 4 games yet to play against UND, as well as series with Wisconsin, Denver and other schools that will be quite challenging.
3) I rule no outcome out, though I certainly think engraving the McNaughton cup is premature.

I welcome our friends from the old NCC to town and hope, within certain limits, you enjoy your stay.

Um skippy, just to let you know we don't hang banners for play in October and November, we hang banners based on play in March and April. The toughest team your team has played was Michigan and you split with them. I would tamper down the enthusiasm until your team has played a full schedule. To quote Shane Frederick aka “Pukato” when asked what he thought about UNO the Mankato beat writer had this to say about the Mavericks.

Lately it seems the only difference between Sioux fans and Gopher fans with their arrogance is that The Sioux still have a good hockey team. I would say great except i think their goaltending is average.... Its too bad their arrogance has come to this level because i like the Sioux and their Palace.

4 four 4 the voice of reason, you're right it's a very long season and we have only had what; one Fire Hakstol and Lucia threads so far?

The black jerseys will be brought with to UNO. Will they be worn, that is the better question. ;)

Are you going Chris? This is a series I wanted to fly into. Alexis has a softball tournament this weekend instead.

I read just about every team thread, its what makes for great banter sometimes, but Michigan sure isn't mentioned as much. No one else makes us the gold standard like your fans... welcome back to USCHO, btw.

I am hoping that they do that as well. They have a record of something like 21-1-2 in those jerseys and according to Brad the only loss was against the Boston College Eagles.
