As for injuries, yes they are a part of the game - thanks for pointing out the obvious.
The issue being made here is that when a team loses more than one key guy for an extended period of time, the likelihood of that team struggling goes up considerably. This isn't the WCHA of 5-6 years ago where the top tier of teams had two dangerous lines and at least 3-4 solid defensemen to deal with the inevitable lineup shuffling. The depth of talent to overcome this problem simply doesn't exist anymore for the vast majority of teams.
Why would you call your opponents a bunch of drunks with poor grammar?UND has a few players out with injuries, but I'm not calling every team we play a bunch of goons.
