I hate to say I told you so, Scooby. But I told you so.

Nice weekend for the Gophers. The Sioux couldn't buy a goal tonight if their lives depended on it. And UMN was getting some crazy bounces that went in. Just not the weekend for UND.

Maybe UND can hang with Cornell next weekend.

We needed the sweep. I'll take the 3 though as long as they finish this game with impunity.

And UMN was getting some crazy bounces that went in. Just not the weekend for UND.

The only really lucky one was Budish's. Birkholz swatted it out of the air, Lucia blocked a shot and fought his way down and fired in a rolling puck, Cepis' goal was off of UND blowing chunks right off the faceoff, and Eidsness just effed Hoeffel's up, even with the very slight deflection.

For all the crap Gopher fans get for leaving games early, I sure saw a hell of a lot of green walking out of Mariucci with about 6 minutes to go in the third.

They probably wanted to get out of there early so that the drunk Gopher fans didn't beat them up after the game. Pretty good strategy IMO.

I have to give the sue props for playing it pretty clean in the 3rd. In the score update thread at the end of the 2nd, I played the thug accusation card and the sue were innocent tonight. My bad.

Yeah, they did behave. I was surprised, but glad to see it. And I thought the referees did a good job all weekend. I know, hard to believe out of a Sioux fan.
