Hakstol looked constipated that entire third period.
The Sioux thoroughly beat the Wolverines in EVERY facet of the game, except the scoreboard. The better team didn't win, but that's why you play the games and why college hockey is so great.

I’m shocked… I’m also a little worried that Michigan will give the same fits to UMD as they gave to CC (they destroyed the natty champs the night before losing) and UND (they destroyed everyone for a month and half). That said – GO BULLDOGS!!!!!!!!!!

Michigan must be the luckiest team to make it to the Championship game. Starting with that UNO overtime goal, then CC totally upsetting #1 Boston College, and now tonight shutting out one of the most powerful offenses in college hockey.

UND didn't destroy everyone for a month and a half. Both games at the F5 were close. You may remember one of them went to double OT.

As a Michigan fan I'm not ashamed to say the better team did not win tonight. But I'm also not ashamed of the win.
We went through it with the 97 team, that was Red's best ever with Morrison and Turco and Madden, and we got beat in the semis. It happens. It's why they play the games.
Has any team ever beaten 4 teams from one conference to win it all? Unbelievable...
