Probably a good idea to learn under Hakstol if this weekend is any indication. He taught his players to actually show up.
You teach kids to skate with the head down. Sister, if you would like to play me hockey, I would knock you out.how about playing w/in the rules?
as for your little insult there...I'll play you in hockey anyday. keep your head up though I learned a bit watching the sux under hacktsol![]()

yeah, "I play you hockey"
take a seat. if there's a poster game in chicago or milwaukee I'll be there. wear you sux jersey so I know who to run through the boards![]()
It's funny.
Hakstol encourages a brand of hockey where his players play to the edge and *some* choose to play over that edge. I don't respect hakstol at all, nor do I respect the players that play for him who when they see a guy with his head down choose not to let up but to skate hard and blow the guy up with potentially far more serious consequences than you seem willing to acknowledge or admit.
You seem to be forgetting the cheap hack that Craig Smith put on DU forward Zucker earlier this year (Fri night DU/UW game). He first tripped Zucker into the boards, and then when Zucker was attempting to get up, Smith just clocked him with his gloves/stick right across the face (well after the whistle, of course). I'm sure you can go back to the Score Thread for that game and see the reactions to that hit if you don't remember it.That hit could have easily knocked Zucker out for a game, and there would have gone your proclamation that UW doesn't knock people out.
I really hope for your sake that UW doesn't knock someone out this season, either with a good check that just hits the player wrong, or a cheap hit.![]()
Exactly.I mean 43-16 in shots? That is what I call getting taken behind the shed.Sioux outplayed them in every department and last night played disiplined after friday nights fiasco of reffing. Huge series with the Balzers team coming up.Excellent result for the Sioux this weekend. Very dominating defensively, and Dell played very well.
Let's see if they can carry that momentum with them to UNO..
Or Wisconsin fans should just admit the Sioux were the better team this weekend, are the better team this year, and Wisconsin is not that good.

I know I should have the sense to leave this alone, but . . . well. Gurt's comments after Friday's game are spot on, IMO.
I'm talking the 2 DQ's that were a joke. Believe me being a lifelong Sioux fan I know all to well how their undisiplined play can bite em in their ***.The fiasco where they got every call right? Is that the fiasco you're referring to?
The only fiasco was your team's undisciplined play. Your team can be very good if they stay out of the box. Even Hakstol admitted the same.

Your coach didn't think they were a joke. In today's hockey, like it or not, coz it really doesn't matter whether you like it or not, those are easily DQ's.
