UND at UW: Let's get hostile, let's get abusive

Re: UND at UW: Let's get hostile, let's get abusive

Did you find evidence of your brash statements while writing your post? I'm interested because by the end of the post you seem to have solid evidence. You just blurting it out doesn't make it true.

the evidence is in as I said. Jordy Murray and Jesse Martin thusfar in 2010. are there more I'm unaware of this year? I know for a fact UW hasn't knocked guys out of a game this year, nodak has two. possibly more. I don't watch all their games. and I wouldn't care so much if I wasn't noticing this as what I thought may have been a trend...it's now almost expected

evidence as it pertains to the sioux playing dirty or "over the edge" imo - Brendan Smith and all the youtube links I've already posted ad infinitum (that brenand smith hit in further review is particularly malicious, you see the sioux player notice smith w/his head down and he intentionally runs him taking 3-4 strides and just exploding)

I would say youtube college hockey and find them yourself but here is the brendan smith hit once more - and in light of this hit (which I saw live) all the rest of the questionable calls and hits on nodak under hakstol - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvjqW5pAuAg - THAT HIT IS THE DEFINITION OF INTENTIONAL. the nodak player is gliding then when he sees Smith w/his head down he takes 3-4 strides and tries to kill (not literally of course)

or go the the other thread where the sioux cali fan was complaining about ncaa won't have checking anymore

Wisconsin needs to stop checking goalies. What a bunch of goons.

:p:D:D you're funny.

Are you saying that only 2 players have been hurt this year and had to leave a game?

you know exactly what I'm saying. Hakstol encourages a brand of hockey where his players play to the edge and *some* choose to play over that edge. I don't respect hakstol at all, nor do I respect the players that play for him who when they see a guy with his head down choose not to let up but to skate hard and blow the guy up with potentially far more serious consequences than you seem willing to acknowledge or admit.

I had and still have respect for Blais. Gasparini I didn't like but could respect.

Hakstol otoh is not worthy of my respect. and in retrospect I think Eaves was absolutely right when he yelled Hak down after that absolute cheap shot on Brendan Smith and all the hacks against Turris

Re: UND at UW: Let's get hostile, let's get abusive

You should be worrying more about your team not scoring any goals thus far this weekend.

Re: UND at UW: Let's get hostile, let's get abusive

Hockey's a rough sport. Sometimes players do stupid, boneheaded things. The Sioux are not alone in this. There are lots of teams out there that I think are dirty. So let's all climb off the high horse. It doesn't make them cheap, or a bad person, just maybe making questionable decisions. If you listen to Hakstol talk, it's clear he doesn't support dirty play wth his talk of getting players to make better decisions regarding these hits. But I don't expect opposing fans to see anything but what they want to see. It's just how it is.

Hak isn't worthy of your respect? Who the eff are you and why would Sioux fans, Hak or anyone else give a rat's a**? This is hockey and as a contact sport people get hurt sometimes.....Sioux players too. As long as the hits are not dirty, which both hits last night were not, I don't have a problem with a physical game. You must be someone real important or at least you think you are....

The only thing I see, is someone who is upset that their player was injured last night, and is lashing out at the team that did it. I understand it, but when you mouth off and say that the "evidence is in"...that's a joke.

As for the Blais thing, I can't believe you have respect for him...especially after the Travis Roy incident.

As I type this, Patrick Johnson crushes Kristo after the whistle...what a goon. I'm assuming you just lost all your respect for Eaves...

are you a joke or what. PJ pushed kristo and kristo was facing him... and it was a light push at that.

Blais and Travis Roy...are you kidding me? Roy went for a check missed and flew into the boards head first virtually on his own. that wasn't the fault of anyone on the ice.

and the evidence is IN. you just don't like it.

well, you gotta role with what you have. a coach who teaches a brand of hockey that is over the line

OK, you're right. Just shut up already.

edit: YAY 3-1 Sioux
2nd goal for Corban Knight tonight against the crappy badgers

Re: UND at UW: Let's get hostile, let's get abusive

More goonery from Wisconsin. Sioux player checked from behind...and then as the player is laying on the ice, the Wisconsin player cross checks him on the ice twice. Unbelievable...I have no respect for Eaves, and his goonish tactics that he infuses into his players...:p:D:D

Just as you have to roll with what you have. A coach who teaches a brand of hockey that sucks donkey cock on the PP.

My favorite part of tonights game? The Wisconsin announcer making Gregoire French. My second favorite part of tonight's game? Eaves makes him Grey-Gore-E.

Re: UND at UW: Let's get hostile, let's get abusive

The Wisconsin players are careening around the ice at pretty high speeds, and they don't even try to get out of the way of the Sioux puck carrier. In fact, it almost seems like they're intentionally running into Sioux players.

I need to lie down, I think I'm getting the vapors from all of this commotion happening in this game.

Re: UND at UW: Let's get hostile, let's get abusive

keep telling yourself. "my team does not have a hack coach." "we don't play dirty" "we don't run guys who have their heads down every chance we get"

after the goonery and thug-like play, I think you are the one who needs to keep telling yourself that. :p:D:D

The badgers are playing so reckless that they just collided into each other in their ruthless quest to injure a defenseless Sioux player. Unbelieveable...:p:D:D

Even inanimate objects aren't safe. Did you see Craig Smith take out the net? They're a bunch of animals over there in Madison.
