UML Recruiting, Building for 2018 and on

Re: UML Recruiting, Building for 2018 and on

The Fred Page Cup began today as well. Ottawa won their first game against Amherst (not the “flagship”) 4-1. Owen Cole did not have any points.

Ottawa lost to Princeville today in OT 4-3. Owen Cole had an assist.

Maccelli - College Eligible (Interest unknown)

Elite Prospects lists Maccelli off to Finland's Liiga next season - making it unlikely any of the uncommitted USHL honorees ever play college hockey...

Re: UML Recruiting, Building for 2018 and on

Ottawa defeat Yarmouth 5-2 this afternoon. Owen Cole had a goal and an assist.

Re: UML Recruiting, Building for 2018 and on

Ottawa defeated Amherst tonight 4-3. Owen Cole did not score. Ottawa will play Princeville tomorrow for the Fred Page Cup and a spot in the RBC tournament.

Re: UML Recruiting, Building for 2018 and on

Logan Neaton stopped 22 of 24 shots and the Spruce Kings won the Doyle Cup tonight defeating Brooks 4-2. The teams will meet again in the Jr A national championship. As Bob mentioned Owen Cole and the Ottawa Jr Sens have a chance tomorrow to join them. I’d have to imagine at this point Andranik Armstrong’s injury is season ending. We’ll see. My money is on the Spruce Kings to win it all.

USHL Phase 2 draft is on-going currently.

Owen Cole was taken with Pick 44 (last pick of the third round) by Lincoln.
