UML Recruiting 2010 and beyond

Re: UML Recruiting 2010 and beyond

bergeron was outta brampton and godoy was outta burnaby which is in the bchl, not the opjhl (an embarrassing guess by bottomdweller!). i need you kids up on these things from now on.

Sadly, I knew this answer ... I really have to stop with overloading myself on the recruiting side. :)

Re: UML Recruiting 2010 and beyond

Quick updates from this past weekend, and they're basically not good ones.

Marc Boulanger played in two games, gaining one tie (and one no result).

Tyler Brickler played in three games, and had no points. The BCHL appears to actually have taken an assist away from the stats I had put up last week.

Julian Melchiori had no points in his team's sole game (a win).

Josh Holmstrom and Chad Ruhwedel's Sioux Falls team took a 10-1 drubbing on Friday night before winning 1-0 the following. Holmstrom was a -5 on the 10-1 game, while Ruhwedel was a -2. No points in either game for the two.

Derek Arnold had an assist in Waterloo's 3-2 win Friday night, and no points in a 2-1 loss the following. Arnold was still a +3 on the weekend.

Will Rayner was a -3 in a 7-0 loss for Lincoln, and had no points the next night either in a 1-0 Shootout loss.

Colton Saucerman was a -1 in each of two OT losses for Des Moines.

Chris Eiserman started and took the loss in the Jr. Monarchs 7-6 loss to Syracuse. Eiserman made 13 saves on 16 shots. Bill Eiserman was a DNP in both games.

Joe Pendanza had no points in a 1-1 weekend for the Jr. Bs. TJ Massie started in the win they had, making 31 saves on 33 shots.

Shayne Thompson had a goal and an assist in Brockville's 8-2 win Friday, and added an assist in a 5-1 win Sunday.

Scott Wilson had no points in either of Georgetown's two games, a 6-3 loss and a 4-3 SOW.

Re: UML Recruiting 2010 and beyond

Terrence Wallin (10-14-24) had an assist in Gunnery's win on Sat. He was held scoreless in their Sun and Mon games, both wins.

Re: UML Recruiting 2010 and beyond

I saw that coming

They offered him the full a while back and gave him a deadline

It turns out our friend Hokiedope went whining to the politically correct board and got PC91 banned. This is what happens when you let the special school children play with the big boys.

Free PC91, ban Hokiedope.

I understand you're not happy with him, but you really don't have to post this on every thread do you?

Re: UML Recruiting 2010 and beyond

They should ban him too.

A. Its not true, you get banned because of writing innapropriate posts.

B. He can post all he wants, just ignore him

No, we just politely let you rattle on and ignore you.

Agreed... hokydad... you might know people, you might be an inner circle guy on somebody's hockey world... you come across as a complete idiot... sorry if that has to be said plain and simple. If the board decides to do something for this "offense" of insulting you directly then too bad, it needs to be said and I ain't going to dance around it. If you want us to take you seriously start acting like an adult.

Re: UML Recruiting 2010 and beyond

I post points and facts/tid bits. If that bugs you, ignore them

a personal innapropriate slam towards my anonymous posts means squat to me, could care less.

If you get banned, it will be because of vulgarity or innapropriate stuff, not me

I will continue to post and could care less what some get a lifer says. the only way some are happy is if you set around all weekend with your fingers crossed, praying your team loses and then pile on the team and coaches, trying to impress each other with cute negative comments.

They dont represent the avg fan to say the least. neither do I by any stretch of the imagination

Re: UML Recruiting 2010 and beyond

personally i don't care what people think i like getting the info on recruits. but then i no longer actively participate in the insular culture of the people who live their entire lives on this board (because i became an adult) and therefore don't care what people post as long as they provide good info, which hokydad does.

keep on rockin, hd. give us some of your latest thoughts on lowell's recruits.

I agree with this regarding Hokydad.

I'm agreeing with Murray, the end must be nigh.

Re: UML Recruiting 2010 and beyond

OK back to topic ...

UML recruits currently play for the following CJHL Top 20 teams:
10. (11) Brockville Braves (CJHL)
11. (10) Georgetown Raiders (OJAHL)
13. (14) Westside Warriors (BCHL)

Re: UML Recruiting 2010 and beyond

The Heisenberg site is showing another recruit for next year.
Derek McCoy-LC Valley Jr.Warriors (EJHL) 6'1 190 4-19-90
Derek currently has 15 points (9-6-15) in 34 games, with 46 penalty minutes for Valley. He previously played at Newburyport High School.

Some old news artilcles about Derek. It looks like his father Don played for UML too.
