UML offseason looking towards 2010/11 season

Re: UML offseason looking towards 2010/11 season

Does anyone know when the season ticket invoices/tickets will be mailed?

I sent a cheque for $100 months ago and received confirmation, via email, from the Athletic Dept that they had received my cheque.

Scott is usually on top of this stuff so I'm not sure what is going on. Any thoughts?
I would give Scott a call (978-934-4988). Based on the 3 payment options on the season ticket application, you should have received an invoice by now.
(1) I would like to pay for my Ticket Package(s) in full
(2) I have enclosed my $50 per seat deposit. I would like to be invoiced before
June 15 to pay for my seats in full
(3) I have enclosed my $50 per seat deposit. Please invoice me in three (3)
installments. I agree to pay installments on June 15, July 15 and August 15

I know what you are talking about because I received one invoice. Then they stopped. so, I don't know if they are really busy with other things going on. By the way has anyone seen the progress on the Tsongas Center?

There has be no progress to speak of as of yet. Blaise just finished his hockey school and there is a scheduled concert in a couple of weeks. After that, it should be full speed ahead.

Jeremy Dehner has signed a tryout contract with Jokerit of the Finnish Elite League.

What is being changed?

New video scoreboard. Creation of new pavilion and Talon Club area. Go to goriverhawks.com to see pictures and video of the new changes. Click on the 2010-2011 Hockey Season tickets link on the left hand side of the page.

Re: UML offseason looking towards 2010/11 season

It's August 1st, so my moratorium on the board is over. No sense in getting worked up when the season is four months away, but it's only eight weeks from Saturday :D

Once the building authority finishes with the Smith Hall demolition (boy it feels so much different with that building not being there), I'm sure that the Tsongas Center will be next.

"Opening night" and I don't call the exhibition game opening night is still 2.5 months away, plenty of time before we start to sweat. Keep in mind that this is the Commonwealth, so they will be still doing things at 5:24 PM on game night.

In fact, I wonder if the exhibition game may be moved to say Tully or the newer Nashua rink that they played in a few years ago. It would be a great marketing ploy and allow to focus on the construction.

It will be interesting to see both Merrimack Valley rinks next year with both schools completing major renovations.

Good to be back

This smells like collusion...my guess had to be the scout uncle or the even the Thrashers.

I like how its the third item listed on the 570news website... this might be seen as sour grapes... but I still think he would have been better served coming here because he'd have time to gain strength... he won't have that time in the OHL and he's out once he's old enough.

Wow... did the guy writing the OHL press release get his training from the Iraqi information minister... it'd make the Pravda editorial staff blush.

This might be the earliest in the preseason I've ever hated hockey...

Waterloo Record article.

“In the end, I just came to realize that I want to play in the National Hockey League and Kitchener is the premier program that will allow me to do that,” said Melchiori on Tuesday.
